We’re officially halfway through 2025 and about halfway through Twisted Cryptids fulfillment 📅🔥 Wave 1 (all pledge tiers) is complete* and we are about to begin Wave 2, starting with select backers in the US, Central, and South America! (Continue reading to find out if you are part of the first batch.)
As a reminder – Wave 2 fulfillment will include any and all Add-ons, including the Twisted Cryptids: Yeti or Not Expansion, Reversible Cryptid Plushies, Here to Slay: Banner Quest, and more!
There are a handful of products that are taking a bit longer to arrive, so if your order includes any of the following items, your order will ship out a bit later (in the August-September range):

For the rest of our international fans, here’s a breakdown of when we anticipate we will begin shipping for your region:
Australia and New Zealand: Early August
EU: Late August
Canada: Mid-August
UK and Non-EU Europe: Mid-August
Asia and Africa: Mid-August
We’re working diligently with our fulfillment partners to get your orders out the door as quickly as possible! If you have any questions about your pledge or need to make any changes to your shipping address, email [email protected] or fill out THIS FORM on our website and somebody from our team of Cryptids will be happy to assist you!
*There are 81 orders from Wave 1 awaiting shipment due to a lack of carriers in the region. An email was sent to these backers on July 2 and our team is checking daily for updates. We will notify affected backers as soon as we’re able to secure a carrier to deliver their pledge!
To celebrate making it to the halfway point of fulfillment, I’d like to share with you all a delightful video packing the Big Twisted Box from our production partner, LongPack Games!
The box can fit even more than what’s shown in the video, including 3 folded Wilderness Boards and all of your cards completely sleeved!
Lastly, I want to make sure our international fans are able to enjoy the Print ‘n Play Cryptids Social Stretch Goal you all worked so hard to unlock ❤️ We’ve uploaded a file in A4 formatting for you to print and enjoy! Wave 1 Fulfillment is *almost* complete! (+ Print ‘n Play files, Tabletop Simulator, & more)

Wave 1 of fulfillment is well underway, and I’m happy to report that 90% of packages have already shipped! As long as things continue to move along smoothly, we’re on track to have over 99% of Wave 1 packages out the door this June as planned. 🎊 (There may be a few stragglers that require updated addresses or various other details before we can push them through, which is why it might not be quite 100% - but we are pushing as aggressively as we can!)
As a reminder, Wave 1 contains items from tiers only. Any add-ons will be shipped separately in Wave 2, which is currently scheduled to start shipping in July and complete before the end of September.
Here’s a breakdown by region of Wave 1 shipments:
North & South America, Australia, New Zealand, and EU: Over 99% of packages have shipped at this point, so yours should either be on its way or already at your door (unless we’ve already contacted you needing additional information)! If you have not heard anything or received tracking, please reach out to our team at [email protected]
UK, non-EU Europe, Asia, and Africa: There were some delays in transit of containers to our fulfillment partner, but the new arrival date is scheduled for next Monday. We still expect to get all these packages out the door before the end of June, but we will continue monitoring the situation closely.

Hello everyone :)
Amidst global economic and geopolitical chaos, I come bearing good news 🥹 Wave 1 of fulfillment for Twisted Cryptids has officially begun. As of when I'm sending this, 12% of packages have already gone out the door, and we are working our way through as many orders per day as we can.
Here is a quick rundown of the estimated start date by country (based on when each fulfillment partner will receive the games). Please keep in mind that these are just estimates for now, but things are looking promising so far 🤞🏽:
US: 5/8 (which was yesterday!)
Canada: 5/12
EU: 5/15
AU & NZ: 5/16
UK, Asia, & Africa: 6/6
We are so excited to get the game in your hands, and we hope it'll bring you tremendous joy :)

Let's talk about tariffs (Spoiler: We are moving full steam ahead 🚂)

Hello everyone :)
Today’s update is entirely focused on tariffs. We will resume our "normal" updates in the next couple of weeks!
As I’m sure many of you are already aware, global trade tensions have been intensifying, and tariffs have been escalated to an astronomical degree, with tariff rates now at 145% for imports into the US from China.
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about what will happen next and what impact this will have on our delivery of Twisted Cryptids. In short, the answer for you is no impact at all. While the current geopolitical economic situation is looking quite discouraging, we’ve decided to fully absorb the cost associated with the high tariff rates on our side rather than holding packages and not shipping them out. We are remaining hopeful that the current numbers will come down before we import the wave 2 add-ons, but there are no guarantees 🥲
We didn’t think it was fair to ask our backers to pay more at this stage or hold packages indefinitely while we wait for the situation to sort itself out. It might end up being a pretty big hit, but we’re just going to take the risk and move forward with our plans.
The good news is that wave 1 is officially on the water heading to fulfillment centers around the world (🎉🎉🎉), and we managed to get those shipments out of China before April 9 (which means only the 20% tariffs will apply at least rather than 145% for containers heading to the US). As soon as we receive those products, we will begin shipping wave 1 right away.
For wave 2 items, we are currently in production, and we ask you to keep your fingers crossed that tariffs come down significantly by the time we are ready to ship them from China 🤞
We are rapidly exploring options to make sure these tariffs are not a major hindrance to future projects if it turns out that they are here to stay. We expect to have a clearer picture of the situation within the next three months, and let’s hope for all of our sakes that the more economically apocalyptic scenarios don’t play out.
This admittedly wasn’t the most fun update to write, but I wanted to make sure to get you the information you need at this point. And, despite the current situation, I still am so excited to get Twisted Cryptids in your hands 🥹
As a final note, thank you for your support through the years. We aren’t going to let this situation deter us from continuing to make games and get them in your hands, and we will find a path forward no matter what it takes.

Yeti or Not Stream Announcement! (+ Print ‘n Play Cryptids Reveal 🔎😳)

I’m thrilled to share that Wave 1 production has finished and the Twisted Cryptids tiers are in transit to our warehouse and distribution partners 🎉 This means we are getting closer and closer to many of you officially bringing Twisted Cryptids out at game night!! (We promise your package won’t be a decoy 😆)
As a reminder – in order for you to receive your pledge, you must complete your BackerKit Survey. This is where we collect your shipping information so that we know where to send your order. 93% of you have already completed this step 🙏, but that means that we still need Surveys from 2,021 backers!
There are a few ways you can access your survey:
Check your email inbox! You should be able to find it by searching “BackerKit” or “Twisted Cryptids”. In the email, there will be a link that will take you to your survey. We also recommend checking your Spam folder, as sometimes these emails end up there.
Still no luck? Email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help you out!
Since the BackerKit store closed last year and addresses locked down in February, you can no longer modify your pledge, only submit your shipping information.
For those of you who have already submitted your surveys, this is a great time to login to BackerKit and verify that the shipping information we have on file for you is correct. If you need to make any changes, please email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help you out!
Note: Submitting your survey or asking us to make edits to your shipping address means your pledge will likely be shipped after our fulfillment partners have made their first pass at shipping that fulfillment wave.
Before you get a chance to play Twisted Cryptids, we want to make sure you have video resources for the base game and all expansions.
Plus, you can tune into the official unveiling of the Twisted Cryptids: Yeti or Not Expansion art and gameplay live on Twitch this Tuesday at 1PM CST (11AM PST/2PM EST):
In this stream, we will go over new mechanics introduced in this expansion, show off some of the amazing artwork, and play through a full game of Twisted Cryptids with the two expansion characters – Yeti and Death Worm, along with fan favorite Cryptid, Mothman 💖
The stream will be uploaded to our Youtube Channel later this week and shared out in the next Kickstarter Update for those of you who can’t make the stream or want to watch it back!
There’s one more update I’m excited to share with you today. Many of you have been wondering which Cryptids won the fan votes for the Print ‘n Play characters, and I think it’s about time we unveil them to you!
